So why should you buy local? ... here are a few reasons:
- You get to interact with humans. You might even brighten someones day or vice versa.
- Yes you’ll pay a little more upfront, but a lot less on the back end. (Think taxes, tuition, bail outs)
- You get better service at a local shop.
- You’ll help your community and yourself. CVS isn’t going to purchase items at your job.
- You’ll probably end up buying less junk. Mom and Pops don’t upsell you. (Would you like a …)
- You’ll own better products that don’t break as much.
- You get to stick it to the man and that’s always fun.
That’s just a few.
