Sincere, principled people of good will don't associate with racists. They don't sit idly by for eight years while their President wastes trillions of dollars on a war based on lies, tortures human beings, and destroys civil liberties, then start complaining when their tax dollars are instead used to help people.
Sincere, principled people of good will don't applaud while their President behaves like a thug and a bully on the world stage, then complain that they "want their country back" when the black man with the funny name shows them how a civilised world leader is supposed to act.

Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister Lawrence Cannon said that he was “flabbergasted” by the fifty-five-million-plus requests for Canadian citizenship, adding that it was difficult to pinpoint the precise reasons for the staggering increase.
“My only theory is that after the 2010 winter Olympics, the sport of curling is finally starting to catch on,” he said.
