It's actually raining. Not just a gentle quiet rain, but decently hard. I hope it lasts a while, it would be the first serious rainy day since--mid-June? We've been getting a few hours of gentle rain, then dry for weeks. I'm afraid my humid, temperate, flora-diverse biome might turn into sagebrush climate this keeps up.

If somebody doesn't run for Congress in my district on something like a Sign Kyoto, Purge Denialists, platform, I may have to do it myself and embarrass us all.
